The objective of the project was to draw inspiration from the diverse array of flowers and plants flourishing in the surrounding environment. Additionally, the project aimed to explore various colorways for the developed design. Ultimately, the goal was to integrate all design elements seamlessly into a cohesive saree layout, showcasing the harmonious fusion of botanical motifs and vibrant colors.
THE INSPIRATION
CHILLI PLANT
For the project, I chose chili plant grown in my own garden. Observing these chili plants grow has always been a source of joy. The chili plant, with its vibrant hues and dynamic growth, embodies a fascinating blend of resilience and beauty. As it matures, the plant transitions through various stages, from delicate blossoms to fiery red chilli, each phase offering a unique spectacle of nature's splendor. Inspired by these stages, I endeavored to develop a pattern that captures the essence of this captivating journey.
